The CHS Biology classes will be completing The Edible Cell Project along with chapter 7. This project is designed to familiarize students with the structures within plant and animal cells. I have given the students handouts that outline the requirements for the project. The students will be making a model of a cell completely out of edible materials which we will then be able to eat during class! See student handout for details. I have posted a link to the requirements (see Helpful Links on the sidebar). The due dates for the project are January 28-29 (next week). I look forward to seeing the creativity of the students in the construction of their models!
* Note: To save on the overall cost of the project, I have instructed students to work in groups and share ingredients. The overall project is to be individual work, however, if students share materials then that should help keep the cost to a minimum. If you have any questions, please contact me.
